Major PokerStars VIP Tournaments
The biggest PokerStars VIP tournaments are the monthly $100,000, the weekly $50,000 and the weekly $20,000. In addition to this, there are lots of smaller VIP tournaments, daily and weekly.
Reaching and keeping your VIP Status
Once you reach a VIP level, you instantly receive all the benefits that level has to offer for the remainder of the month AND the month following it. Note: Your monthly VPP counter resets at the beginning of each month. To maintain a particular level in the VIP Club, you must earn the required VPPs in the following month in order to stay at that VIP level or to advance to the next level.
VPP calculation
You earn VPPs the same way you earn FPPs: 1-3 points are awarded per raked real-money hand depending on total rake; 5 points are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees. The higher your VIP level, the faster your FPP accumulation, up to x 4 for SuperNova Elite players.
