Daniel Negreanu Discusses The Pokerstars /Players Meeting

Poker pros Dani Stern, Isaac Haxton and Daniel Dvoress flew to Montréal this week to speak with PokerStars executives about the recent changes taking place on the site. The primary focus of the players’ anger was the short notice which they received that Supernova Elite players would not receive as many benefits this year as they thought they would. Illinois Judge Throws Out Four-Year-Old Lawsuit Targeting Pokerstars

A lower court had already tossed the suit after ruling that PokerStars was merely the provider of games, only taking rakes out of each pot, not collecting winnings. In the recent appeal, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Richard Posner compared the iGaming giant to a “croupier who supervises the casino’s poker game.”
