Full Tilt and PokerStars Freeroll for signing UIGEA petition

Jun 22, 2009 Categories: News 0 Comments
As most Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars players are aware, the US government seized $30 million from US banks that held fundsĀ  to cover payouts for online poker players. All Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars players have recently been reissued payments that were previously unable to be paid due to the accounts being frozen. Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars are now asking that their players sign a petition being sent to President Obama to remove poker from UIGEA and to license and regulate internet poker in the US. Each player who signs the petition will be entered into a freeroll at Full Tilt Poker or Poker Stars. Full Tilt Poker players can view the petition and sign up here. Pokerstars players can view the petition and sign up here. For updated information regarding poker regulation in the US check out the Poker Players Alliance.
