Attention all InterPoker, Betsafe and Sun Poker players!

As from March 1 2008 the network Cryptologic changes their rakeback structure and this affects the poker rooms InterPoker, Sun Poker and Betsafe. Cryptologic are introducing a “Grandfather”-system:

* The concept of grandfathering means that players who raked more than 1000 MPP’s in Nov, Dec or Jan, will keep their current rakeback and bonus levels. That’s up to 38.75% gross rakeback and up to $1000 in bonus’s every month.

• New players and players not qualified as grandfathered accounts will receive 30% gross rakeback.
• New players can receive up to $500 (£250, €340) sign up bonus on their first months play and a maximum of $200 (£100/€140) every month thereafter.
• Players not qualified as grandfathered accounts will receive a maximum of $200 (£100/€140) in monthly bonuses.

All players that are eligible for a Grandfather account will be notified by email from the poker room.

Questions and Answers:

What criteria did you use to pick grandfathered accounts that could keep their old promotion levels?

Players that have been a loyal customer and made more than 1000 My Poker Points (MPP) in November, December or January.

Can a grandfathered player open up a new account and keep their old promotion levels?

No, they can only keep their old promotion levels on the accounts notified to them. The only exception is if the player wants to change to a different currency account, but this means they need to close their old account and can’t transfer the old My Poker Points (MPP) to the new account. The player must also stay with the same affiliate. Players can not open up a new account with another Cryptologic network operator and keep their grandfathered promotion levels.

Can players sell their grandfathered accounts to another player?

No. Accounts are personal and will be closed down if abused.

Will grandfathered accounts be excluded from new promotions?

No, these players will still be entitled to new promotions. In addition to keeping their old benefits, up to $1000 a month in bonus’s and the rakeback as listed below, they will also be able to participate in some of the most amazing leaderboards and tournaments on the net including our best ever World Series of Poker promotion yet.
